Activity

I specialize in computational modelling of hydrological and environmental processes, with a focus on water quality and pollution transport in coastal, urban, and riverine environments. At Turku University of Applied Sciences, I work closely with both modelling and water monitoring teams to bridge advanced simulation with practical water management applications.

I am interested in joining consortium applications under PO4 (Improved Coastal and Marine Environment) and PO5 (Decreased CO₂ Emissions). I offer expertise in developing and applying high-resolution models for simulating hydrological flows in rivers, receiving water bodies, and urban/coastal catchments. These models support the identification of pollution hotspots and help assess the effectiveness of mitigation strategies — including nature-based solutions — for reducing runoff, nutrient loads, and emissions to the sea.
