active 1 week, 1 day agoWe at TechVilla, Finland lead and participate in programmes which focus on helping companies to grow, internationalize their operations an renew in a sustainable way. TechVilla is a non profit programme house, owned by the City of Hyvinkää, and we mainly operate in the New Land Region of Finland. We have successfully led and participated in numerous different programmes, also partly EU funded programmes, and helped over 350 companies.
We know the pain points of companies, have tools and expertise to help them, have a good network to different instances within Finland and in companies in various business areas, and have experience in EU-funded programmes.
We are interested in leading initiatives, or acting as a partner in programmes that fit our experience and purpose. We welcome all new partners interested in building something together for the benefit of all the areas.
We could help build programmes in themes like green transition, internationalisation, and sustainable growth.
We can bring our expertise in innovations, processes, communication, business models related to i.e. digital, automation, customer oriented business, services, business development, work wellbeing, recruiting, onboarding, working in ecosystems.
In regards to the newest programme application (OCT 2024), we’re interested in participating as a partner in objective 6: anti-discrimination policies. Many of the things that need to change for more inclusive work environments and societies need to be justified with a backbone in business.
The companies need future skills and people from various backgrounds to be able to succeed also in the future. The problem is often that the companies don’t see the benefit of hiring someone different, whether it’s a person with a limited working capability or an immigrant. The companies also don’t have experience in using a foreign language (in case of immigrants), don’t have existing practices for recruiting or onboarding (and no connecting network for foreign employees and their families). We need examples and proven good practices from companies who have succeed to spread to other companies. We also see it important to get working guidelines or an evaluation process that helps companies when they decide to recruit an immigrant or someone different.
