Reducing CO2 footprint and amount of E-waste created and promoting education and ICT penetration
active 7 months, 1 week agoEvery year, over 2 billion electronic devices are created, with more than 300 million of them being computers and laptops. Unfortunately, less than 20% of these devices are disposed of properly. While this is happening, 2.4% of the EU’s 450 million inhabitants cannot afford to be part of the digital world.
We are looking to connect with companies and organizations possessing large ICT device fleets that are interested in enhancing their operational efficiency, promoting ICT penetration in their regions, and measuring and reducing the CO2 footprint of their ICT device fleets. We then introduce the companies to individuals who would like to get access to the digital world to improve their lives, learn, expand their employment prospects, and help circulate the devices to promote the reusability of the equipment and reduce the amount of E-waste created.
